Universal Anchor

With an ever aging population the need for products used in orthopedics on low quality cancelous or spongy bone is greatly needed. That is why DuPeron Medical Systems has designed an anchoring bone screw with a locking member insert through its head to prevent the backing out of the anchor. Also, the attached “Driver” was developed for inserting the locking member requiring a minimal incision.

Expandable Spinal Fusion Cage

Currently DuPeron Medical Systems is in the process of designing an expandable spinal fusion cage. This cage will be used in the spine between two vertebrae to apply adequate spacing between them to relieve pressure on the nerve. The cage is inserted in a collapsed state; it is then expanded to the position in the picture to the right. Once inserted fusion can take place between the two vertebrae surrounding the cage.

Expandable Rod System

The Expandable Rod System is used for treating scoliosis. It will be designed to apply slower straightening of the spin reducing the amount of force needed along with fewer fixation points causing the surgery to be less violent.

Multi Coaxial Screw System

A screw system was developed that is capable of fastening into a composite medium such as living tissue (cancelous bone) and an inert material such as a titanium plate. For instance, when anchoring an object into a bone.
